Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, today paid a visit to the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, at the party's national headquarters in Abuja.

The visit comes shortly after Governor Fintiri's defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, along with his cabinet and a substantial portion of the state's PDP structure. During the meeting, the governor reiterated his full loyalty to the APC and pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.

Governor Fintiri assured the national chairman that Adamawa State would deliver at least 85% of the votes for President Tinubu and the APC in the upcoming polls. He emphasized that his move to the APC was a strategic decision aimed at strengthening the party, promoting national unity, ensuring long-term stability and development for Adamawa, and consolidating support for the president's Renewed Hope Agenda.

APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, welcomed the governor's assurances and highlighted the importance of such high-level defections in building a stronger, more unified party ahead of future elections.
