A 23-year-old hiker, Hadi Nazari, has been rescued after spending 13 days lost in Kosciuszko National Park, surviving on just two granola bars. He expressed gratitude to rescuers who searched tirelessly in tough conditions.
Nazari was last seen on December 26 and was reported missing the same day. He was ultimately found by fellow hikers about 10 kilometers from the search command post.
Despite the challenging conditions, he was in good health, thanks to the limited supplies he found. His family celebrated his safe return, marking it as the “happiest day” of their lives.
