As the Jigawa state Government intensifying on boosting agricultural farming system for the farmers to stand on their own feet and improve the economy of the state by initiating different agricultural program that will favour civil servants and peasants farmers in the state.
Unfortunately, the program of wheat farming system is getting an obstacles on delaying the distribution of the farm inputs as well as poor Quality of some of the farm inputs supplied by some AGRO-DEALERS as farmers making a public outcry on the certainty of the goods .
The farm inputs supplied by some of the dealers have less quality compare with previous farm inputs distributed last year .
The farm inputs that comprised 2Npk and 2 Urea and Bag of 25kg of wheat seed to be use for cultivation of one acre which expected to produce 10-15 bags of wheat .
In 2023 wheat farming program the farm inputs are good and distributed in time while the present distribution delay which will affect the outcome of the expectation during the harvest.
Fortunately, AGRO-DEALERS or company like FMAN used to distribute Qualitative farm inputs and improve seed provided that what they distribute I’d what they will collect as payback.
There is a need for the Jigawa state Government to take urgent action on those who supplied poor fertilizer that will not boost wheat farming at it need quality fertilizer to gain more.
The Middle of November is the suitable date to plant wheat and get mass outcome during Bumper harvest and now who is be blame on delay and supplying poor farm inputs ?
