The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North-East Zone has sounded the alarm on the All Progressive Congress (APC) led federal administration, citing untold hardship inflicted on Nigerians without proactive measures to remedy the situation.

This is contained in a communique issued at the end of the party North East Zone meeting signed by Kabir Bappa Jauro Zonal Secretary of the Party on Wednesday in Bauchi.

The PDP resolved that it’s the only party capable of providing solutions to Nigeria’s current challenges, making it the last hope for salvation.

The meeting reflected on the PDP’s 16-year rule, acknowledging its loss to the APC in 2015, but proudly declaring that
“The PDP years were indeed a blessing to the Nation.

“Since 1999, the PDP has dominated the North East sub-region, producing notable leaders, including a former Vice President, serving governors, national chairmen, and National Assembly members,” It said.

The communique, aligning itself with the position of governors, the Board of Trustees (BOT), National Assembly Caucus, and critical stakeholders on the National Chairmanship tussle

The communique praised the unparalleled infrastructural development by PDP governors and passed a vote of confidence on the governors of Adamawa, Bauchi, and Taraba states.

The PDP North-East Zone’s stance is clear: it’s time for a change, and they’re ready to lead the way.
