Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has been commended for supporting the operations of Library services in the state since he came in as Governor.
Consequently and in recognition of his contribution, the Governor will be honored with an Award of Excellence by the National Librarian Conference.
The State Library Board has therefore concluded arrangements for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Conference of National Librarian Conference of Bauchi.
A statement signed by Nazif Mahmoud Abubakar on behalf of the State Librarian, indicated that State Librarians, Directors and Chairman of Public Libraries would be in attendance.
The ceremony is expected to be declared by the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, on the 21st May, 2024 at SULGAD Majestic Hotel , Maiduguri bypass, Bauchi.
The statement further contained that Sen Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad will be conferred with an Award of Excellence by the National Librarian during the Occasion.
