TROOPS RESCUE KIDNAP VICTIMS IN TARABA STATE OPERATION

 

TtroopTroopsthe 114 Battalion (Rear) of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army have successfully rescued three individuals who fell victim to a kidnapping incident orchestrated by bandits in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Acting on actionable intelligence, Lieutenant Olubodunde Oni, the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations 6 Brigade, revealed that the troops swiftly responded to information about the bandits’ movement from Ardo-Kola to Yoro. Deploying to Apawa village in Yoro Local Government Area, the troops effectively trailed the armed group.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, the troops engaged the criminals with superior firepower, compelling the bandits to abandon their three abducted victims. Fortunately, the rescued individuals have now been joyously reunited with their families.

The success of this courageous operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the 6 Brigade to ensuring the safety and well-being of Taraba State residents.
