Borno State Police Command has arrested Adam Alhaji Ibrahim a husband to late Fatima Alhaji Bukar who was killed yesterday by unknown.
Fatima was murdered yesterday by some unidentified criminals at her residence in Dikechiri Bayan Gidan Dambe in Maiduguri.
This paper has reported how her killers tied her with ropes, covered her mouth to avoid screaming and stabbed her with a knife from different parts of her body, which ultimately resulted in her death.
A source within the family said Adam was arrested yesterday night after Gov. Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum directed authorities to take her body back to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for body autopsy.
Her family has earlier slated Wednesday 2:00 pm for her burial at 707 Housing Estate Maiduguri before this development.
The governor’s move was to investigate and unravel the criminals who carried out the dastardly act and bring them to book.
