A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, Alhaji Atta’ib Mahmood has lauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Barrister Nyesom Wike as Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Mahmood an ally of the former Governor of Rivers State Wike stated this in a congratulatory message made available to Journalists on Sunday in Bauchi
He said the appointment was based on his exemplary leadership, and starling qualities from among equals, and bestowed him with the onerous task of returning the glory of the FCT
He commended President, Tinubu for having confidence and finding Wike worthy of occupying such a position
“Congratulations Sir, on your assignment as FCT Minister by President Tinubu, at this auspicious time.
“I was not in doubt that the President adjudged excellence to be an integral part in his renewed hope mantra delivery to Nigeria and Nigerians,” he said.
The APC Chieftain said that the appointment of Wike came at a time the Federal Capital is deeping into a slum somewhat.
“When the original beautiful Aesthetics of the FCT is exponentially being displaced and atrophying, the President isolates you from among equals, and gives you the onerous task of returning the glory of the FCT”.
“Considering your performance in Rivers State, I trust that you can do it more, the Federal Capital Territory must reverberate and keep her venerated status.
“Transport to the center, those secrets you employed in RIvers State, that worked”. He said
According to Mahmood Wike you are known to turn stone to marble, talkmore of a treasure as FCT delivered to your safe hands,
“We expect you will go with your enviable zest and vigor. You will write your name in crystal again” he said
Mahmood however prayed for Allah to guide President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the brand new FCT Minister Wike in the effort to transform the country.
