Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board appreciates Gov. Umaru Bago’s gesture to pilgrims

 

 

 

The Executive Secretary Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, has expressed appreciation towards the gesture of Governor Umar Muhammad Bago to pilgrims when he paid them a visit in Muna Saudi Arabia.

 

The executive secretary in a statement through his spokesperson Hassan Danladi Idris mentioned that the pilgrims really appreciated the gesture by the governor.

 

Governor Bago had given some financial assistance to the each of the 3,710 Pilgrims of the State to ease their hardship while in the Holy Land.

 

Governor Umar Bago assured Nigerlites that the Niger State government will put measures in place to improve the conditions of pilgrims from next year.

The governor however promised to revamp the Niger state Hajj transit camp to make it more habitable and conducive to the State Pilgrims and also promised that the Minna International Airport will be modernized to standard.
