The candidate of the New Nigeria People Party NNPP Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf also known as Abba Gida-gida has been declared a winner in the just concluded Kano state governortorial election held on 18 March, 2023.
The returning officer of the Election announced that polled 1,019,602 to defeat his closest rival Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the All-prograssive Congress APC who polls 809,705.
Others are Sadiq Aminu Wali of the people Democratic Party PDP who bags 15,957 among others.
