Dutse Emirate Council Gathered Zakat Items Worth More Than N300mln

The Dutse Emirate Council as part of its preparation for the 2023 Ramadan has gathered some food items which was shared to the less privileged in the Emirate.

 

 

According to the Islamic scholars Zakat is one of the Islamic pillars which can be collected from the rich and  given to the Poor and vulnerable.

 

 

 

The Dutse Emirate Council is an exemplary palace on it efforts of Gathering huge amount of Zakat Items and Funds.

 

 

On Tuesday 14 March 2023,the palace under the leadership of His Royal Highness The Emir of Dutse Alhaji Muhammad Hameem Nuhu Sunusi has lunched the distribution of Zakat Items including Farm product worth three hundred and fifty nine million Naira.

 

 

During the event, the Emir called on the Islamic scholars to continue guiding the Emirate Council to achieve more success on Zakat as inherited from the late Emir Dr Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi.

 

 

In his welcome address the District head of Dutse and also Turaki of Dutse Alhaji Jamilu Basiru Sunusi Assured to publish history book on Zakat legacy founded by the late Emir.

 

 

The Emir of Dutse Alhaji Muhammad Hameem Nuhu Sunusi later move on to Yayari Ward and Buji district to distribute the item as the people of the district became first and second in the gathering of Zakat Items.

 

 

One of the beneficiaries Bashar Adam told our reporter that he was so happy that he got the Zakat which he said came at a time most needed.

 

 

Therefore another woman beneficiary Binta Abdullahi said she will use the items in an appropriate way for her family.
