YPP Bauchi Guber Candidate dispels defection to another party

 

The Young Progressive Party (YPP) Gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi State Alhaji Umar AG Aliyu has dispels reports going round that he collapse his structures to another political party.

 

 

Aliyu dispelled the rumor in an interview with Journalists on Monday in Bauchi, he expressed optimism of winning election in the forthcoming governorship and state Assembly election.

 

 

AG Aliyu dispelled the rumor, though he confirmed that some political parties have approached them for a possible merger, saying that they are still not strongly disposed to the merger yet.

 

 

“We are confident of winning this election because we have what it takes. We have a solid base and structures in all the 323 political wards of Bauchi State.

 

“We have interacted One-on-One with our supporters in all these wards during campaigns and we have seen the prospect of winning, In Sha Allah”.

 

“Our manifesto is anchored on harnessing in areas where Bauchi state has comparative advantage. So, basically we are focusing on mechanized agriculture, improved basic education and health, and wealth creation through value chain in agro-allied produce.

 

He added that “One of the positive multiplier effects of these value chain additions is creating job opportunities for our teeming youths as an avenue to check youth restiveness in our communities”, said AG.

 

Aliyu said that the feedback they were getting in the aftermath of their statewide campaign outings has been encouraging and given them signal of winning the election in Bauchi State.

 

The gubernatorial candidate then called on his supporters to vote for him and other candidates of YPP.

 

 

He also implore electorates to be steadfast, persevere and ensure that their votes makes a difference.
