The Central Bank of Nigeria has debunk the emerging stories of the Apex bank issuing orders to commercial banks to accept old Naira notes from customers.
A press release signed by the Director, Corperate Communication CBN, Mr Osita Nwanisobi stated that the report is fake noting thay only old 200 notes remains a legal tender base on Mr president Adress.
He therefore urged the media to verrify its stories from credible source before going public with it’s publication.
