Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu and the leader of the Indeginous People of Biafra IPOB has reveals that his clients health has detoriareted in the costudy of the Department of Secret Services DSS.
Accorsing to the lawyer, DSS refused N1 million given it by Kanu’s lead counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), for the agitator’s medical needs.
Accorsing to the Nation, Ejiofor said Kanu has been suffering from heart problems and some mineral deficiencies which require specialists’ attention.
He said Kanu has been refused access to his private doctors for the management of his health condition.
Ejiofor, who said he visited Kanu on Monday at the DSS detention facility, Abuja, said his client needed immediate attention without further delay.
The Nation is still trying to reach the DSS for comments.
