A popular market known as Singa market in Kano known for selling of foodstuff and provision has been gutted by fire.
There was no specific cause od the fire however, it was gathered that the fire was caused by electricity.
BBC reports that the men of the fire services department are still trying to put off the ravaging infanor which is fast spreading into other shops.
