13 persons have been kidnapped by gunmen who attacked Maijaki village in Birnin Maza/ Tashibo ward of Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State in the early hours of Friday, October 21.
According to reports, the gunmen carried out the attack around 1am on Friday, and it was also learnt that they shot one of the villagers.
Channels Television reports that tension is still high in the community following the attack and they called for urgent security presence to forestall calm and stability in the area.
It was reliably gathered that the criminals are currently occupying Kpashimi Forest where they hide to perpetuate their evil act at any targeted community especially of recent, with AK-47 riffles.
