Nigerians react after youths welcomed Peter Obi from Egypt

Nigerian youths flooded the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to recieve Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential flag bearer who has just returned from a three-day study visit in Egypt.

Recalled  that the former Anambra State had on Tuesday revealed that he would be visiting the country for three days to examine its electricity, education, planning, and finance sectors.

Valentine Obienyem, Obi’s media aide, posted images of the presidential candidate visiting the New Capital Power Plant in New Cairo, Egypt, on his Facebook page on Thursday.

Obi was photographed with engineers at a power facility in Egypt, where they were learning how Egypt grew its power generation to become one of the largest in Africa.

On his return to Nigeria on Saturday, the presidential candidate was met by a swarm of young people who wanted to take selfies with him.

Well, the wide publicity has generated a barrage of reactions from social media users who slid under the comment section of the post to share their opinions. Whiles some were of the opinion that he wouldn’t win the election after all the display on social media, others encouraged the youth to get their PVCs ready.

Some of the reactions below reads;

Oyabunmi Samuel had this to say: Make una let this man rest, He isn’t winning the presidential election.. I’m not APC nor PDP but that the truth

Kamal Mohammed wrote; He abandoned your candidate in Ekiti (if at all you’ve one) by touring in Egypt for comparative analysis/study, your party has zero structure, no grassroot, no councillor, no chairman, governor or Reps. Please Obi don’t waste our PDP votes, collapse your party and support PDP.

Cici Anita wrote; My PRESIDO we don miss you
