Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has lamented over the incident borrowing happening in the country.
He said where will they find the money they are always going to Abuja to share? According to him, last month the government had to print about 50 to 60 billion nairas which were used to top the money shared.
Governor Obaseki also revealed that Chevron is now one of the worst investors in crude oil production while Shell is now pulling out of Nigeria tactfully.
Obaseki said he feared that in the year to come, Nigerian’s high rate of inflation on the naira will be like that of Argentina.
He further stated that everyone is just looking at 2023 and Mr President cannot perform magic.
