Tanzanian Presiden Samia Suluhu has sent an appreciation message to all those who rally around to support them in the death of her predecessor late president John Pombe Joseph Magafuli who passed away two weeks back.
According to Suhulu, the president will be laid to rest today 26th March.
Suluhu wrote in a tweet;
“Today we lay to rest our beloved president Dr John Pombe Joseph Magafuli; On behalf of the people of the United Republic of Tanzania and my behalf I would like to thank fellow Compatriots; National leaders Religion leaders, Diplomatic Community, media houses, artist, musicians and everyone who has supported, comforted and sent us condolence messages during this difficult and trying times for our nation. May our good Lord grant our late president eternal peace, Amen”.
