Wife of the president Aisha Buhari, has sent a heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kaduna state as well as the Zazzau emirate over the loss of their monarch who passed away on Sunday.
Aisha in a post on Facebook has described HRH Dr. Shehu Idris as the longest reigning in history, she prays to Allah to grant him eternal rest and console his family and give them the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Aisha wrote;
It is with deep sadness that I received the news of the death of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris. The Emir being one of the longest reigning in recent history has played his role as the custodian of the traditional institution.
I wish to use this opportunity to therefore extend my condolences to the government and people of Kaduna state and Zazzau Emirate in particular while praying Allah subhanahu wa taala to grant Aljannatul Firdaus and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Amen.
