NAHCON and Ja’Iz Bank signs Hajj savings scheme agreement in abuja-Photos

The Nationa Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has signed an agreement with Ja’is bank on hajj savings scheme for intending pilgrims in Abuja.

According to the Chairman of the Commission Alhaji, Zikhrulla Kunle Hassan, the scheme will go along way in aiding intending pilgrims to save without stress.

He said, “the Hajj saving scheme is a platform enshrined in the NAHCON Act 2006, as a contributory payment scheme for perspective intending pilgrims who wish to take a pilgrimage to makka”.

The Chairman also applauded the past leaders of the Commission for their relentless good intentions in formulating the Act as well as their steadfastness.theAlhaji Zikhrulla further appreciate the leadership of Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello and Barr. Abdullah Muhammad Muktar for making such significant efforts in actualizing and initiating the Hajj Saving Scheme through a lot of research from other countries who are already benefiting from the same policy.

In a different goodwill messages by attendees as well as representatives of some of the key speakers, Umar Mutallab described the signing of the agreement as a significant milestone for all Hajj stakeholders in NigeriaNoting that with the scheme, intending pilgrims can gradually plan to actualise their dreams of performing Hajj, while States will also have the chance to plan better and in the long run become self sustaining.

On his part, the chairman House committee on Pilgrimage Hon Hassan Nalaraba Commends NAHCON in it’s efforts, pledges the commitment of NASS to work with the Commission for a smooth implementation of the scheme.

The Commission further advice all intending pilgrims from the 36 states of the federation including FCT, to register with any Ja’is bank branch nearest to them for the Hajj saving scheme policy.NACON Also gave out the link where intending pilgrims can log on the portal and register at https://hajjsavings.jaizbankplc.com:8088, in other to enroll and open an account.
