Independence Day: Wase tasks Nigerians on unity, peaceful coexistence

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ahmed Idris Wase, urges Ngerians to remain united for the good and progress of the country.In a congratulatory massage on the occasion of Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary, Aigned by his Chief Press Secretary Umar Muhammad Puma, the Deputy Speaker, enjoinedd Nigerians to pray for a long lasting peace and to also pray for the leaders for the entranchement of good governance.

We have come a long way as an indivisible country, it is the responsibility of every citizen to work and ensure that the country remain not only as one, but as indivisible and united and peaceful country.

He tasked Ngerians to continue to pray for the leaders to realise the mission and vision of the country’s founding fathers who fought for the country’s independence.

“As we mark our country’s 61st independance, we must remain steadfast, United and prayerful for our country to overcome all its challenges.
