Bauchi South Senatorial District, Senator elected under All Progressive Congress (APC) Shehu Buba has prayed to God to give him wisdom to offer quality representation to his people at the Senate.
Buba stated this in an interview with Journalists on Thursday in Bauchi, saying he will continue to pray to God to grant him the wisdom to offer quality representation in the state.
He said he aspire to be in the Senate to serve his people, state and the country at large.
My main aim is to go there as a senator for the entire country and work towards bettering the lives of all Nigerians.
“To ensure implementation of laudable policies and programmes that will improve the well-being of the governed.
“I will come out with strong legislation that would enable states and local governments to have sufficient allocations from the Federal Government to ensure massive rural development,” Buba said.
He noted that he was able to go round the communities and the seven Local government areas of the senatorial district.
“I saw what are challenges of the citizens across the seven Local governmment areas and their communities.
“That gave me the knowledge and the insight of their numerous problems, with which I will ensure strict compliance on budget implementation in this direction to ensure good democratic governance in the country,”he said.
The Senator appreciates the people of Bauchi state, his supporters and members of the progressive party for giving him the mandate.
“We commend INEC for running a free and fair election in the state and across despite few challenges they have done their best,” he said.
