The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON)  has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris on his 60th birthday.

A statement by Dr.Yemisi Bamgbose,  

Executive Secretary BON indicates that Mohammed Idris who turned sixty on May second is a professional public relations practitioner and media guru. It adds the Minister has brought quality experience to the management of  the national information dissemination and media space as the heads the ministry of Information and National Orientation. 

BON notes his diligent way of communicating government policies and activities to the public without unnecessary propaganda has brought a new style to governance.

It says we pray for good health and divine wisdom as he climbs higher the ladder of life. It concludes.
