

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Senator Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari have charged women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intensify grassroots mobilization and maintain party unity to consolidate support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
?The call was made during the one-day Women Stakeholders Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit held in Abuja under the theme, “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reform to Prosperity.”
Speaking at the event, Senator Oluremi Tinubu emphasized that APC women hold a pivotal responsibility in educating citizens at the local level about the achievements and policy direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.


She noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0 represents the government's trajectory toward economic recovery and prosperity, citing ongoing progress in economic stabilization, inflation reduction, growth in foreign reserves, heightened investor confidence, and expanded agricultural support.
Expressing gratitude to party women for their sustained commitment and prayers, she urged them to collaborate with stakeholders across the Presidency, National Assembly, and state party structures to ensure the administration's impact is clearly communicated in every community.
?Reinforcing the call for strategic alignment, the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Sen. Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari, commended the vital contribution of women to the party's previous electoral victories and overall growth.
The former Zamfara State governor highlighted the necessity of building a coordinated political movement rooted in party loyalty and collective action.
He urged the women leaders to strengthen their ranks, declaring that their ongoing mobilization efforts must be anchored on “one vote, one movement, one choice.”


Both leaders concluded by charging the attendees to return to their respective states to deepen grassroots engagement, foster internal cohesion, and sustain momentum as the party prepares for the upcoming general elections.
The event witnessed large attendance of governors wives, ministers both serving and retired, serving female legislators as well as the aspiring ones, wives of local government chairmen and women from all the 36 states of the federation..
Senator Abdul Aziz Yeari was equally accompanied by Gov. Hope Uzodinma, senator Rochas Okorocha, former Governor Amina Bello Masari, former chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC among others
