Nigeria's newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel, Her Excellency Ambassador Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu, has officially commenced her diplomatic assignment following the formal presentation of her Letters of Credence to Israeli President Isaac Herzog during a ceremony in Jerusalem on Monday.
?The presentation officially marks the formal start of Ambassador Ufochukwu's tenure and reaffirms the Federal Republic of Nigeria's commitment to deepening its diplomatic and economic ties with the State of Israel.
?Speaking after the ceremony, Ambassador Ufochukwu expressed her resolve to advance Nigeria's strategic foreign policy objectives while cultivating enhanced bilateral cooperation between both countries.
She outlined key priority sectors for her mission, including trade and investment, technology, agriculture, security, innovation, cultural exchange, and direct people-to-people engagements.
?Confirming the development in an official statement, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, expressed confidence that Ambassador Ufochukwu’s tenure will consolidate existing strategic partnerships and open new avenues for sustainable economic collaboration between Nigeria and Israel.
