In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria called on all involved parties to exercise maximum restraint, immediately halt actions that fuel hostilities, and prioritize the protection of civilian lives and regional stability.

?Underscoring its commitment to international order, the Federal Government urged both sides to embrace diplomacy, peaceful dialogue, and constructive negotiations in alignment with the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.

The statement warned that any further expansion of the conflict poses a grave threat to the security and peace of the wider region.

Reaffirming its dedication to the peaceful resolution of international disputes, Nigeria stated its readiness to support all genuine efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, restoring calm, and establishing lasting peace in the Middle East.
