?Speaking during the decoration ceremony for newly promoted Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) and Commissioners of Police (CPs), the police chief noted that higher rank is a recognition of hard work and professionalism, but emphasized that it carries heightened public responsibility.

?IGP Disu charged the senior officers to uphold zero tolerance for corruption, adopt intelligence-driven strategies, and lead by personal example.

Beyond operational duties, he urged them to prioritize personnel welfare, mentor junior officers, and cultivate a service rooted in accountability, professionalism, and empathy.

?Addressing the recent allegations of extortion involving Federal Capital Territory police personnel and the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the IGP praised the prompt intervention by the FCT Police Command.

Reaffirming his administration's commitment to discipline, he assured the public that the officers involved would face full disciplinary sanction, reiterating that misconduct will not be tolerated within the Force.
