The Federal Government has directed the allocation of a plot of land for the building of the General Abdulsalami Abubakar Peace Centre along the airport road, Abuja. 

A report on NTA News state that, Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented President Tinubu at the 84th birthday celebration of General Abdulsalami Abubakar and the launch of his three books, gave the directive in Abuja. 

Vice President Shettima commended General Abdulsalami for his service to the Nation, as it has earned him a unique place in the nation's history.
