?The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Sector Command, has recovered a double-barrel firearm following a road traffic crash along the Awka–Enugu Expressway.

?According to a statement issued by the Corps Public Education Officer, Osondu Ohaeri, the weapon was discovered by the FRSC Rescue Patrol Team during a routine inventory of victims' belongings shortly after rescue operations were concluded.

?Reacting to the incident, FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed commended the alertness of the team, noting that while the Corps remains primarily focused on crash prevention and victim rescue, its personnel also serve as critical first responders.

He added that their vigilance on the highways continues to aid security agencies through the recovery of dangerous weapons, stolen vehicles, and other vital exhibits.
