VP Atiku Abubakar Sends Condolences to Former PDP Chair Over Mother’s Demise

former Nigeria’s vice president Atiku Abubakar has send a condolence message to his former party chairman and the former governor of Bauchi State Adamu Mu’azu over the death of his aged mother.

Atiku in a condolence message on his Facebook page prayed for the soul of Hajiya Halinsa Suleiman, mother of Adamu Mu’azu to rest in jannatul Firdausi and her sins forgiven by the almighty Allah.

Recalled that news broke of the death of the beloved mother of the former governor of Bauchi State Adamu Mu’azu on Saturday 1st of November 2025.

His statement reads:

“Innalillahi wa Innailaihi raji’uun.
When I visited the DIFF Medical Centre, Apo, Abuja, last week, we prayed for the speedy recovery of Hajiya Halima Suleman, the mother of H.E. Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, former National Chairman of the PDP and former Governor of Bauchi. We were hopeful and believed she would recover. But I am saddened by the news of the passing of Hajiya yesterday afternoon. That is in accordance with the divine plan of Allah.

“On behalf of myself and my family, I express our deepest sympathies and condole with H.E. Alh. Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, his family, and all those affected by this irreparable loss.

“May Allah forgive Hajiya Halima’s shortcomings and grant her Aljannah Firdausi. May the Almighty Allah also grant her bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amin. -AAee”.
