Gombe NSCDC Commandant Condoles Governor Inuwa Over Death of Security Commissioner

The Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Jibrin Idris, has commiserated with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the government, and people of Gombe State over the tragic death of the Commissioner for Internal Security, Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd), his police orderly, Sergeant Adamu Husaini, and their driver, who lost their lives in a fatal car crash.

In a condolence message signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Saad, Commandant Idris described the incident as a monumental loss to Gombe State and the security community at large.

He noted that the late Commissioner and his aides served the state with diligence, discipline, and selfless commitment to promoting peace and stability.

“The Commandant recognizes the immense contributions and dedication of Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd), Sergeant Adamu Husaini, and their driver to the peace and security architecture of Gombe State.

Their demise is indeed a painful and irreparable loss,” the statement said.

Commandant Idris prayed for the repose of their souls and for Allah to grant them eternal rest in Al-Jannat Firdausi, while asking God to strengthen their families and loved ones to bear the loss.

Until his death, Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd) served as Gombe State Commissioner for Internal Security, where he was widely known for his professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to peace building efforts across the state.
