NFF Doubles Eric Chelle’s Salary to $100,000 Monthly, Hands Him U-23 Team Role

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in collaboration with the National Sports Commission (NSC), has approved a new contract package for Super Eagles Head Coach Eric Chelle, increasing his monthly salary from $50,000 to $100,000.

The revised agreement also provides for the direct payment of his assistants by the NFF.

In addition, Chelle has been given responsibility for managing Nigeria’s U-23 team, the Olympic Eagles, as part of preparations for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The move aims to strengthen the development pathway for young players transitioning into the Super Eagles.
