PTDF, AFIT Move to Strengthen Partnership on Capacity Building and Energy Education


The Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Professor Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu, has reaffirmed the Fund’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) following a courtesy visit by the Institute’s leadership in Abuja. 


Led by Air Vice Marshal Adeniran Kolade Ademuwagun, the AFIT delegation congratulated Professor Aliyu on his appointment and expressed readiness to renew and strengthen the existing Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions. 


Professor Aliyu highlighted PTDF’s focus on human capital development and disclosed plans to expand collaboration beyond scholarships and intervention programmes, including support for the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Kaduna. 


Both institutions pledged continued cooperation in advancing research, innovation, and capacity development to support Nigeria’s technological and human capital growth.
