NIDCOM CONGRATULATES EKEH ON RECEIVING GLOBAL LEADERSHIP HONOURS FROM FORBES AND EUROKNOWLEDGE

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has congratulated Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, Chief Executive Officer of Konga Group, on his two global leadership awards, the Forbes Best of Africa E-Commerce Leadership 2025 and the Distinguished EuroKnowledge Award for Emerging Leadership in Digital Transformation.

Dabiri-Erewa in a congratulatory message described Ekeh’s recognition as a proud moment for Nigeria and a reward to innovation, and leadership excellence of young Nigerians driving Africa’s digital transformation.

In 2018, Prince Nnamdi Ekeh led the strategic acquisition of Konga from global investors Naspers and Kinnevik, merging it with Yudala to create Africa’s first true omnichannel e-commerce giant.

Under his leadership, Konga has evolved into a diversified ecosystem encompassing KongaPay (fintech), Konga Logistics, Konga Health, and Konga Travel & Tours, serving over four million customers and a merchant network of about 250,000 across Nigeria.

Dabiri-Erewa praised Ekeh’s philosophy of building commercial scale with a social soul, noting that his impact extends beyond business to national development, empowerment, and technological inclusion.

She further urged young Nigerians to draw inspiration from his journey, which embodies innovation, integrity, and purpose-driven leadership.
