The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, alongside Commissioners of Information from APC-governed states, paid an inspection visit to the Maiduguri Emergency Gas Power Plant currently under construction by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
The visit, which took place today (Wednesday) in Maiduguri, focused on assessing progress at the power facility, which is designed to generate up to 50 megawatts of electricity, a project expected to significantly improve power supply across Borno State and its environs.
