Igbokwe’s declaration comes in the wake of a heated on-air confrontation between Minister of Works David Umahi and Rufai Oseni during a live broadcast of The Morning Show.

In a strongly worded statement, Igbokwe said, “I will never go there (Arise News) again until Rufai Oseni is removed. The Animal Science graduate is making a mockery of journalism. A television station is not a place for mediocres and noise makers.”

The APC chieftain maintained that his decision was final and non-negotiable, stressing that he expects media organizations to uphold professional standards when engaging with public officials.
