Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a constructive bilateral discussion with Hon. Molly Phee, the United States Assistant Secretary of State.

 

The meeting was held at 78th UNGA on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA),

Tuggar, expressed his hopeful outlook, anticipating that this dialogue would not only strengthen diplomatic ties but also contribute significantly to the stability and prosperity of the West African region.

“During this meeting, both esteemed representatives engaged in extensive talks regarding the current political landscape in Niger Republic.

“They explored opportunities for mutual cooperation in advancing regional security, fostering trade and investment, and improving critical infrastructure projects.
