Former senator of Kaduna state Shehu Sani has condemned the brutal murder of 4 traders in Imo state earlier today Sunday 4th April.
Senator Sani in a tweet called on the IMO state governor to ensure justice is served for the victims and to the government should also ensure they provide adequate protection to non-indigenes.
He wrote;
“The reported killing of the four Hausa Traders in Imo State stands unreservedly condemned. Nothing can justify such evil and disposable act by any group or individual. Traders are not armed herdsmen. @Govtof IMO state must ensure justice is served and none indigenes are protected”.
Meanwhile, Twitter users have reacted to the incident as well as the statement by the senator.
While others supported his call, some challenged why those who were equally killed by Fulani Herdsmen in the past were not granted justice.
