Sunday Dare, Minister of Youth and Sports Development has facilitated the establishment of a 600-capacity vocational training centre for youth and women in Oyo State.

According to The Nation, the minister secured the project, which is to be cited in Ogbomoso, the day he was installed as the Agbaakin of Ogbomoso by the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, announced the project.

“Following the request from Chief Sunday Akin Dare, I am pleased to announce that a 600-capacity youth vocational centre will be established in Ogbomoso,” she said.

Oba Ajagungbade and Dare expressed the people’s appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Federal Government for the gesture.
