Zarah Buhari takes legal action against Sahara reporters for defamatory claims over custom Funds
Zarah Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari has taken legal action against a Nigerian newspaper Sahara Reporters.
The suit was filed by a law firm Bashir, Nasir & Co. Barristers & Solicitors started that their suit was in respect of a Publication carried out by Sahara reporters on the 5th march where it accuses their client Involvement in a certain fraud going on between the federal government and the Nigerian custom services.
The letter further stated that, the Online newspaper specifically mentioned their client name where it alleged that N2.5billion was wired to her account.
